Scientists create mugshots using DNA...


In a scientific study to verify the reliability of this new law enforcement tool, the South Houston police DNA lab obtained DNA samples from locker room pilferage cases in several bath house burglaries, and came up with the following composite mug shot...



In a further test, the lab used DNA from knee prints left on the men's room floor from the Braniff Street bus station...This is the resulting mug shot...



An unsolved case in which two sets of DNA were left in a crime scene involving pickpocketing in a nude gym class at the Montrose YMCA resulted in this mug shot of the suspects...



Finally, there may be a breakthrough in a baffling case of high-speed internet theft in the Hobby Airport area...Investigators were able to extract DNA from a lingering foul odor at the crime scene where an elderly veteran (code named "Ted" to protect the innocent) reported an unsolved bandwidth threat...
