CBS cancels CSI:NY and starts new series...

In response to the outrage from viewers over the cancellation of CSI:NY, the network announced today that production has begun on its replacement, tentatively titled CSI:Hobby Airport...The storyline follows a reclusive mountain climber and part-time boat insurance salesman in the Pacific Northwest who becomes angered at having to solve the arson of his favorite sporting house himself when local crime scene investigators refuse to even consider it a crime...

After hearing of the many unsolved crimes in the corruption ridden South Houston area, Nox joins the Hobby Airport Police & Taco Vendor Inspection Dept., Detective Nox befriends a derelict boarding house operator on Braniff Street who becomes his informant on the misdeeds of several ne'er-do-wells who inhabit the nearby lesbian/poofter bath houses and other houses of horizontal refreshment...

His chief nemesis seems to be a shadowy towel boy named Lefty who always seems to be nearby when a petty crime is committed...Another recurring character is Lefty's father, Swifty, who owns and operates Swifty's All Night Bail Bond & Repo Service...Comic relief is provided by Lefty's brother, RHM, an up and coming sissyweight boxer and lingerie model...

The pilot episode centers on the mysterious disappearance of a retired Pennsylvania woodworker who operates a massage parlor behind his tractor museum to make ends meet...Before his abduction, he was said to be running the massage parlor by hand to save the expense of having employees...Nox, with his vast knowledge of tractor seat fitting, finds the clues others miss, and vows, "I'll solve this case if I have to sweat every stripper and prostitute in the city..."

Stay tuned for more exciting episodes...
