Wildlife correspondent Dan reports, "Zoo keeper Lefty says charges he fathered the baby giraffe are not true. He says his friends put him up to it, but momma giraffe's bung was too high and step ladder wouldn't reach."
Update: Although zookeeper Lefty denies the criminal charges, he pleaded "no contest" in the paternity suit...The court ordered garnishment of his zoo salary for calf support until the giraffe reaches the age of 18...
Correspondent Dan rebuts, "A closer look at Lefty's zoo accounts show he is already paying child support for the baby rhino and two ostriches."
That explains all the overtime...
