After stopping a nude motorcycle rider, Hobby Airport police have gotten conflicting stories from the man, identified only as "Lefty"...The rider first claimed to have been sent to WalMart for new towels by a popular Braniff Street bath house, and said his breechclout blew off in the wind...
Police suspected the rider might be under the influence of drugs, but were unable to confirm as no drug-sniffing dogs could be found that were able to get close enough to the overwhelming odor coming from the motorcycle seat...
Under questioning by detectives, Lefty admitted losing his clothes in a card game...One detective asked, "Are you a poker player, Lefty?"...The suspect answered, "No sir, but those guys I was playing cards with sure were..."
